- Keep your knife dry and lubricated to prevent rust. If rust spots occur, semi-chrome metal polish can effectively address them.
- Avoid using dishwashers, as they can cause irreversible damage not covered under warranty. Hand-wash your Benchmade knife with warm water and dish soap, then dry thoroughly.
- Refrain from using your knife for tasks beyond its intended purpose, such as prying, screwing, chiseling, or punching.
- When sharpening your blade, steer clear of grinding wheels and other high-powered machinery.
- Periodically check and adjust handle, pivot, and pocket clip screws using T6 & T10 Torx drivers. Apply a small amount of releasable thread-locker as necessary.
