USAGE & MAINTENANCE To ensure your Benchmade knife lasts a lifetime, proper care and maintenance are crucial. Here are some guidelines to keep your Benchmade in optimal condition:

• Steel can rust over time, so it's essential to keep your knife dry and well-lubricated. Spotting or rust can often be remedied with semi-chrome metal polish.
• Avoid dishwashers, as they can cause irreparable damage not covered under warranty. Hand-wash your Benchmade with warm water and dish soap, then thoroughly dry it.
• Knives are cutting tools, not substitutes for pry-bars, screwdrivers, chisels, or punches unless explicitly designed for such tasks.
• If you opt to sharpen your blade at home, refrain from using grinding wheels or high-powered machinery.
