Hey Everybody,

We are excited to get this new blog up and running. We will be discussing a wide variety of topics; firearms, fishing, Aaron’s extensive shoe collection, hiking, and camping. This will be a chance for us to go further in depth on some topics that we know you would love to learn more about.

I’ll give a quick introduction to who I am. I will be the one writing most of these blogs and listening to what you guys would like to hear about. My name is Courtney, and most things that you see on Corlane Sporting Goods social media have been planned and posted by me. I have a passion for all things outdoors. I spend my summers hiking, hunting in the spring and fall, and snowboarding in the winter.

Most of you probably know about Corlane Sporting Goods and what we stand for, but I will give a little bit of backstory for those who are new here. We are a family-owned hunting and sporting goods store established in 1962 and have been passed down through the generations. The current owners are Tim, Greg, and Aaron (we pick on Aaron… a lot). The goal of Corlane Sporting Goods is to provide people with the supplies and knowledge they need to enjoy the outdoors happily and safely with their families. The Corlanes family has also grown in the last year as we have opened a new location in Prince George, BC.

Now, I know this first blog has been a little bit slower, but I promise the next one will be more interesting! In the next blog post, we are going to be talking about spring bear hunting and what items are essential for a successful bear hunt! We are going to release blogs as often as we can, so make sure that you check back and check in with our social media so you don't miss one!
