Crescent Sock Company was founded in Niota, TN in 1902 by James L. Burn and continues to operate today under the leadership of his fourth-generation family. Niota is nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Southeast Tennessee, a region known for its beautiful landscape of mountains and rivers. Its here you will find the Hiwassee River.
