The classic American-style rimfire rifle, this beautiful 457 features a 24.8” barrel with no sights, designed for use with a scope. Its Turkish walnut stock boasts a high, flat comb and a traditional checkering pattern. Like all CZ 457 models, it includes an 11mm dovetail milled into the top of the receiver for attaching scope ring mounts.
One significant improvement over previous rimfire models is the new American-style push-to-fire safety. This is the most noticeable change, but CZ also made numerous other enhancements. They reduced the action length by nearly an inch and slab-sided it to decrease its footprint and weight.
The stamped bottom metal from the 455 has been replaced with an elegant two-piece interlocking system. For easier scope mounting, CZ changed the bolt rotation from 90° to 60°, accommodating larger ocular bell diameters with lower ring heights. Additionally, the 457 now includes a trigger adjustable for weight, creep, and over-travel.
Maintaining the same swappable barrel system as the 455 and the same dependable polymer magazine system, the 457 is undoubtedly the best rimfire platform CZ has ever produced.
