Maxima Ruger rings, sold in pairs, are tailored to fit Ruger's proprietary dovetail and are packaged in model-specific configurations. Crafted from solid steel, Warne's Maxima rings are vertically split, ensuring they can withstand heavy recoil and accommodate large, weighty scopes. Due to variations in firearm manufacturer's mounting rail designs, each ring model is machined with precision to ensure a proper fit without the need for a mounting base. The Ruger Quick Detach rings come in two styles: one to fit the Ruger #1 receiver design (including Blackhawk and Mini 14 models), and another for the tapered receiver style like the Ruger M77, Hawkeye, and Super Redhawk. The Ruger M77 style rings are available in two different heights to accommodate the tapered mounting surface. The Ruger Fixed Rings feature 4 T-15 Torx style socket cap screws for secure and permanent optics mounting.
These rings attach directly to the firearm's dovetail, and Warne guarantees a return to zero when detaching and reattaching the Maxima QD rings, ensuring no loss of zero. The Ruger-specific scalloped recoil control key ensures positive engagement of the ring to the receiver dovetail. The rings securely mount around the scope using 4 Torx style T-15 socket cap screws.
